EDDU SILVER SHERRY CASK FINISH 60 YO LMDW - 70 Cl

Aged first in a cognac barrel and then finished in a Pedro Ximenez cask, this non chill-filtered bottling made the most of its stay in the Andalusian wine barrel to draw the essence of the cereal from which it is produced - buckwheat - to furtherhighlight the fruity aspect that is so typical of this Breton whisky, which has been produced in Plomelin in the Finistère by the Le Lay family since 1998. Abundant notes of pear and apple roam freely through the palette of aromas and flavours that shines with its delicious shades of green and honey.

Profile: full-bodied, the nose is characterised by notes of toffee and praline, highlighting the influence of the time spent ageing in Pedro Ximenez casks. The buckwheat gradually regains the upper hand. Fruity (pear, apple), the palate then becomes coated in salted butter caramel. Wonderfully crisp finish.
