Glenfiddich The Original is a single malt Scotch whisky inspired by a previous release from the legendary distillery - the 1963 Glenfiddich Straight Malt, the expression which Sandy Grant Gordon introduced the world to. Glenfiddich The Original was created by Malt Master Brian Kinsman, recreating the flavour profile of the 1963 Glenfiddich Straight Malt with help from the original recipe book from their 4th Malt Master, Hamish Robertson.
In 1963 Glenfiddich launched a single malt whisky and sold it outside of Scotland, a highly unusual move considering that the whisky world.
