Located at an altitude of 200 metres on the northern slope of the Ben Rinnes mountain, the Benrinnes distillery was completely rebuilt in 1955 before being modernised and automated in the autumn of 2012. From 1974 to 2007, the distillery’s spiritwas distilled two and a half times. This very sober bottling aged 23 years has managed to preserve the energy of its youth. And so it is with a brisk pace that it guides the taster through the twists and turns of a particularly bright and colourful palette of flavours and aromas which constantly gains height in order to showcase the inextricable connections uniting the three stages of the tasting.

Old Pulteney's Stroma has been bottled at a higher strength than their previous whisky liqueur. It is made with a blend of whiskies from the maritime distillery's selection, resulting in a sweet, robust liqueur. Served over ice, it's an excellent drink that's perfect to sip while broodingly staring out into the ocean.
