This Lowlands single malt has spent 18 years in refill hogshead before being bottled in 2016 by Douglas Laing. The nose is zesty and lively like a fresh Spring morning, with cut grass, citrus and a slight nutty sweetness. The palate shows mouth-coating sugared barley combined with a fresh cereal character and runny honey. The finish is long with a fruity, Wine Gum sweetie quality and gentle spiciness.
