Proving that the accomplishments of women should be celebrated throughout the year and not just on International Women’s Day, The Malt Gallery was delighted to host a group of inspiring ladies for an evening of delicious food, exquisite wine and riveting conversation.
Held at The Malt Gallery’s flagship boutique in Achrafieh on June 7, 2022, the private dinner featured a bespoke menu by Faqra Catering paired with Nikka Days and Champagne Lanson. Expressing its commitment to supporting women in Lebanon, especially in these challenging times, Faqra Catering curated an outstanding culinary journey that included salmon tataki, smoked salmon with avocado tartare, ravioli with shrimp and fish pave with Champagne butter.
Selected for their contributions to sectors ranging from art and design to politics and economics, the invitees — Cynthia Bouchakjian, Janis Sarraf Tabet, Danielle Hatem, Amanda Abi Rached, Tracy Ghazal, Nicole Maftoum, Aline Murr, Rita Lamah and Rola Ghotmeh — were also treated to a masterclass with The Malt Gallery’s general manager, Salim Heleiwa.
“We believe that women are a powerful cornerstone of society. This event was just our way of paying tribute to some of the many women who are waving the Lebanese flag high and doing their bit for a better Lebanon. We applaud their efforts and will continue to do so in different ways,” said Heleiwa.
As a parting gift, the ladies were given a bottle of Nikka Days to enjoy The Malt Gallery experience in the comfort of their homes.
