A refreshing Apéritif to enjoy on a warm afternoon (perhaps in the south of France, if at all possible). 30&40 Double Jus is made using a blend of pommeau (an apple-based spirit), Calvados (another apple-based spirit) and rum (not made of apples, but... Oh, you know what rum is), and the combination is aged in oak barrels for an additional hint of spice. Suitable for a variety of cocktails and mixed drinks - we particularly like serving it in a spritz, though it's more than suitable for serving simply with tonic and a fresh slice of apple.
