First, Aikin Whiskey French Malt Collection Batch No. 1 for 1 year in selected French oak barrels in Brittany, France. This is followed by a second maturation phase of 2 years in former rum casks in the tropical climate of Martinique, which gives this Aikan whiskey a unique concentration of aromas and its beautiful amber colour.

The so-called Angels Share is also unique, almost 10% per year in Martinique, compared to 1.5% in France!
