Produced at a time when Benriach’s malting floors were still active (which they are again now, since 2013, but only intermittently), this version matured in a new oak cask takes the same peaty paths as the magnificent single cask #2057 featured in the Antipodes catalogue. Alternating wonderfully between fruity, chocolatey, earthy and medicinal sequences, the flavor and aroma palette also beams with depth and maturity.
