CAPOVILLA DISTILLATO DI VINO MONTANAR BIANCO 2007 50 CL

This wine distillate is the result of a meeting between two men – Gianni Capovilla and Denis Montanar – with a shared passion for wine. The first is considered one of the greatest distillers in the world, and the second is one of the most emblematic wine-growers, reputed for the quality of his natural wines. Ethereal, delicate and elegant, but also rich, concentrated and deep: all of these adjectives perfectly sum up this eau de vie. Its aromatic and gustatory palette, extremely sensitive, isboth bright and shady.

Topaz. Rich and complex with delicate notes of roasted exotic fruits, the initial nose develops into a vanilla-scented and roasted register (tobacco, tea). Extremely elegant, it then becomes infused with truly exquisite oriental perfumes (rose petal, Turkish delight). The palate has precise and succulent flavours of gingerbread and raisin cake. The finish is very fruity (Mirabelle plums, apricot). The retro-nasal olfaction is spicy (star anise), rich (lime blossom, cinnamon) and vanilla-flavoured. The empty glass highlights a woodiness with undertones of liquorice.
