Half fermented in a 3000 litre foudre and half in a tank, this is a mix of three in Puligny, Chassagne and St Aubin.
Both Puligny and Chassagne have vines over 70 years old, limiting yield and concentration. The nose is complex, with spicy and slight hazelnut notes, and some dried citrus fruits.
On the palate there are notes of candied lemon and orange, rich fruit and waxy nutty notes. Drink now until 2024.
Burgundy's white wines are dominated by Chardonnay, but aligoté could be an interesting insider alternative.
Derived from the aged vines of Puligny, St Aubin and Chassagne, it is well structured and satisfying, with notes of thyme and citrus.
