Completely unpeated (unusual in the highlands), this Glengoyne is soft, fruity and very quaffable. A fine single malt!

Nose | Initially, whole bunches of grapes literally jump out of the glass. This fruity, crispy approach is held together by a very pure distillate and a very smooth (vanilla) woodiness (fine oak). |
Palate | Perfectly in line with the nose, the attack is also very fruity (lemon, fruity). The mid-palate is creamy, vegetal (dry grass) and honeyed (acacia). Highly complex, it lingers on to notes of sugared almonds and candied fruits (peach). |
Finish | Grapey, the retro-nasal olfaction is also marked by notes of medlar, heady florals (lily, iris) and citrus fruit zest (grapefruit, lemon). |
