KAVALAN 5 YEARS 2017 OLOROSO SHERRY CASK EU EXCLUSIVE 2022 70 CL

Kavalan opened in 2005 as the first private whisky distillery in Taiwan. Kavalan’s single malt has already won several awards, including Jim Murray’s ‘New Whisky of the Year’ and ‘World’s Best Single Malt Whisky’ at the World Whiskies Award. Kavalan 5 Years Old Single Cask Oloroso Sherry European Exclusive 2017 is a limited-edition release exclusively for the European market.

The single malt was distilled on 15 May 2017 and matured for 5 years in a single Oloroso sherry cask. It was bottled on 12 September 2022 at a cask strength of 54%. On the nose, you’ll find aromas of dry grapes, red fruits and sweet spices. The palate brings leather, dried fruits and black coffee, leading to a liquorice finish. One of 217 bottles.
