Kavalan offers, in collaboration with La Maison du Whisky, a version of its famous single malt in a smoky character. A rare occurrence, the peat notes do not come from barley but from the 3 barrels used in the blend which previously contained a peated whiskey before seeing this Taiwanese nectar stand for several years. A legacy of the Jim Swan era, this approach gives charming and spicy notes, finely smoked and mineral.
The aromatic palette even ventures towards notes of fruit, characteristics of Kavalan, and chocolate. A true taste adventure! Bottled at its natural level, without cold filtration.
