For two centuries, Laphroaig master craftsmen have strived to shape one of the most richly flavoured Scotch whiskies. This version has been crafted by the current Distillery Manager, John Campbell, as a friendly testimony to those who have workedbefore him. Laphroaig The 1815 Edition was left to sleep in first-fill, over-charred ex-bourbon barrels, before being refined in new European oak hogsheads. Never used before by the distillery, this maturation occurs slowly, resulting in a single malt of great depth.
