LINKWOOD 10 ANS 2012 ARTIST COLLECTIVE 6.0 70 CL

In an artist collective, artists come together to work towards shared aims. In a similar fashion, La Maison du Whisky’s Artist Collective range unites single malts with a wide variety of styles, maturations and regions.

Contemporary artist Yanis Khannoussi created the paintings adorning the labels of this sixth edition. For the Linkwood 10 Years Old Artist Collective 2012, six first-fill bourbon barrels distilled back in 2012 were married together to create a refined and lively dram.

It has a fresh and fruity nose with aromas of banana, plum, apple, honey and cut hay, joined by some spicy notes of Cayenne pepper, ginger and clove.

The palate is clean and lively with lemon softened by vanilla, coconut and almonds. Later, notes of aromatic plants, liquorice, ginger and cinnamon develop.

The finish is long and well-balanced with lingering salt, candied fruits, vanilla, praline, herbs and fresh honey.
