Behind the number 66 lies a distillery founded in 1898, which transitioned from two to four stills in 1955 and then from four to eight stills in 1974. This distillery also produces a second non-peated single malt mainly intended for the famous blended Scotch, ‘Teacher’s.’ Evolving with the influence of rather dry peat, the aromatic and gustatory palette of this version extends towards the very end of the palate with magnificent hints of essential oils
