Woodford Reserve Wheat has been included in the Distiller's Select range. Inspired by traditional recipes, this new expression is a grain whiskey whose flavour is dominated by its main cereal ingredient: wheat. The recipe, created by Chris Morris,combines four cereals in the following exact proportions: 52% wheat, 20% malted barley, 20% corn and 8% rye. This is an innovative take on a classic American whiskey — it directs the flavour profile towards hints of fruit and oak combined with the sweet notes that are typical for bourbon.
