With its rich terroir and exceptional climate, Lebanon has been producing wine for thousands of years. And while some of the country’s wineries have won awards at international events, a number of smaller boutique wineries have entered the market, making their mark on the global wine map.
We love Lebanese wine at The Malt Gallery, so much so that you’ll find an excellent selection of local wines on our shelves and online. Here are just five of our summer favorites:
Budget-friendly
Domaine des Tourelles White 2021
Blending Viognier, Chardonnay, Obeidi and Muscat d’Alexandrie, this wine features elegant, flowery and crispy notes that are perfectly balanced with three other noble white grape varietals. It’s also great value for money.
Nostalgic
Ksara Sunset Rosé 2021
This is the wine that made the rosé category in Lebanon stand out. We have all tried it at some point, and we all remember the good times when we enjoy it these days.
Special occasion
Atibaia Rosé 2021
A blend of Cinsault and Syrah, crafted to perfection, this wine is silky, salty, fresh and luminous. Your palate will thank you for the lively and elegant notes, reminiscent of blackcurrant buds, followed by intense minerality.
Light and lovely
Karam Cloud Nine 2020
This wine is aromatic and lively. Expect the taste of exotic fruits, some tension and plenty of freshness.
New on the shelf
Domaine de Baal N 6 rosé 2021
This exclusive cuvée is made exclusively of Cinsault. Boasting a full, fresh and crisp taste, with white peach and a hint of apricot, it’s smooth on the finish.
