With each batch specially crafted, Aberlour A’bunadh is a unique cask strength whisky. The batch #1 of the A'bunadh version which mean ‘the original’ in Gaelic was created in 1997. A’bunadh is made in homage to Aberlour’s founder, James Fleming, using only traditional methods from the 19th century, without chill filtration and usually bottled at a cask strength of 60% ABV or more. It is the result of a blend of 5 to 25 years old casks.
