Nose | Soft caramel and butterscotch intertwined with the typical HP heather honey. Slight touches of leafy eucalyptus and new leather. With time a more fruity side emerges, sweet citrus and pomegranate |
Palate | Creamy and syrupy. The heather honey persists. More fruity than the nose, Crème brûlée with orange syrup, stewed berries and a soft peppermint note. The sweetness fades as a dark bitter chocolate emerges. Nicely balanced with all well integrated |
Finish | Long, and becoming a tad drier. The spiciness of toasted oak takes over from the sweeter palate. Salted almonds with more leather. Coats the palate with a well balanced warming spice. Very satisfying. |
