Liqueur de Génépi is made from the most popular Savoy aromatic plant. Genepi also refers to alpine plants of the genus Artemesia and grows in the Alpine region between 1 500 and 2 000 meters high. Genepi is produced with carefully selected plants and using traditional production process inherited from the Eyguebelle Monks.
Tasting tips: Unlike wine tastings, herbal liqueurs should be tasted breathing out. Carbone dioxide soothes taste buds and helps to develop aromatics notes.
